- Going alms round in villages and introducing ancient Buddhist customs to devotees
- Rendering various meditation programs and dhamma discussing in nearby villages
- Arranging annual trips to historical Buddhist places such as sacred Bodhi tree in Anuradhapura , Mahiyanganaya(The lord Buddha’s first visited place in in Sri lanka), Nagadeepaya (The lord Buddha’s second visited place), Kelaniya (The lord Buddha’s third visited place), Kandy Tooth relic temple
- Conducting various religious activities in historically significant places in India such as Buddhagaya (Buddha’s birth place), Varanasi (Place where the first dhamma sermon was given ), Kusinara (the place where the lord Buddha passed away) etc.
- Distributing ration food to poverty-stricken people and orphans.
- Special intensive meditation programs are arranged for the monks and lay devotees throughout the day to develop spirituality, morality and wisdom
- An environment protection plane is initiated by the monastery in order to protect the forest and animal in the village.
